TRPA Boat Sticker Program for 2026

TRPA has once again approved ELA member's participation in the boat sticker program this year. This allows those of us who keep our boats exclusively at Echo to forgo the physical inspection and treatment otherwise required of all boats in the Tahoe Basin. This is a significant privilege, and it’s important that we handle it carefully so we can continue to benefit from it in the future.
The cost remains $38 per sticker. To participate, please provide the following:
Boat registration number (CA or NV)
Echo tag number
A self-addressed stamped envelope
A check for $38 per sticker (please include the registration number and Echo tag number in the memo line)
Once all items are received, your sticker will be mailed to you.
Please note: if you arrive to launch your boat without an intact Echo tag, the chalet will not allow you to launch, and you will not be eligible to participate in this program moving forward. I don’t anticipate any issues, but it’s important that everyone understands the importance of maintaining compliance given the privilege we’ve been granted.
A big thank you to Kim Stevenson for taking on the role of coordinating this process—she will be tracking submissions, collecting checks, and mailing out stickers. We received the stickers earlier this month and will distribute them on a first-come, first-served basis.
