2026 Annual Meeting & Family Picnic

In-person in El Sobrante - no internet/zoom
Place: Abbey Lane in the in El Sobrante. There are picnic tables and room for camping type chairs if you bring your own. The site is wheelchair/walker accessible and there are bathrooms near the site. Alcoholic beverages are allowed (beer/wine only). Note that the site may be shady so bring extra layers and something waterproof just in case.
When: Saturday May 2nd, 10am - 1pm. The meeting will begin at 11am., but we have the site from 10am until 6pm, come early and/or stay late to enjoy the park!
Cost: $5 per car to park. There is also a bus connection from Richmond BART.
Picnic Lunch: Bring your own picnic lunch! Either pack one or pick some up on the way. Here are some suggestions:
If you are on Highway 24, options in Orinda include Village Pizza, Europa, and Safeway grocery store
If you exit Interstate 80 on San Pablo Dam Road and head east toward Kennedy Grove, the Princeton Plaza shopping center has Mountain Mikes Pizza, Peets, Silver Ocean Chinese, Raley's grocery store, Cafe-Soleil (new American cuisine) and Spicy Bite (Indian)
If you are on Interstate 80 in the El Cerrito area, you can take the Central Ave exit, Costco is west of 80 on Central Ave; Cafe Gran Milan is at 5327 Jacuzzi St.
If you are coming from the south on Interstate 80, at the Ashby Avenue exit you can find Berkeley Bowl West which has a large selection of prepared food (920 Heinz Ave, Berkeley, CA 94710)
